DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS GROUP

These ladies meet every Wednesday evening from 6:30 - 8:00p, for 8 weeks, discussions on how to recognize an abusive relationship, what to do if you find yourself in an abusive relationship, learning where abuse orginates, and much more.  Speakers come in every few weeks and we have a pot luck after each 8 week session.

PARENTING 101

Can you use some help raising your family? 

This workshop to be held twice a month will help you to gather tools and support, working with other parents in an effort to be better prepared to address family issues and resolve situations. (coming soon)

RE-ENTRY FOCUS GROUPS

This group focuses on helping the ex-offender both male and female, re-enter our community in a positive manner, we work on self-esteem issues, job search, fatherhood, parenting, family, housing and other pertinent issues.  We are growing in numbers and are having a wonderful experience.  Thank you to the Los Angeles County Parole - Lancaster for giving us the opportunity to service our community.  Classes are  starting April 14, 2010.
